Tragic was… EVERYTHING. A story about a second chance at life. A second chance at love and happiness. I devoured this book in one sitting. Picture it, a cold night, a cozy blanket, cup of the best brew, and a DEVNEY PERRY BOOK. What more could a girl ask for? NOTHING! Kaine, a broken man destroyed by his past, isolating himself from human contact. He finds himself in a predicament when he finds that his new neighbor is gorgeous and he can’t stay away. Piper, who’s been a through hell and back only to end up dealing with a divorce and moving across country. Montana is a new start for her, she buys a new property, but she didn’t know that it would come wit a grumpy neighbor who was so attractive. Their attraction is undeniable. Just that their road to happiness isn’t easy. ONE WORD… MAGICAL! That’s how I’ve been describing the book. From start to finish I was captured by Perry’s words. I find myself going back and forth on how to express what this book means to me. So much has happened in Kanie and Piper’s story, but I can’t spoil it. Read it and experience their ups and downs. To say that I was an emotional wreck would be an understatement. I was crying and smiling and I just, have no words for what Perry is able to do to me. I absolutely loved this book and every other book Perry has published.
