This book was just as good as the first but omg am I heartbroken I need the third book immediately please. I think honestly this series is a 6 star read. The heart break, the tension, the friendships, the traumas, the love, literally everything in this book had its claws in me. IM OBSESSED. The love I have for each character is honestly amazing. I fell for each character but obviously Silas and Lena. Gosh the emotional trauma and damage they went through, the longing, the jealousy, the need, the tension, the betrayals, and the heartbreak over and over again but that's just building up on everything! Also the ACHES they have for one another. The miscarriage just added on to that. I was so shocked but even more heartbroken for the characters. Thats true heartbreak especially since I have been through it. That brought me closer to the book in a lot of ways. I couldn't stop reading I had a whirlwind of emotions throughout the whole thing. The world building and the war, the magical elements are my absolute favorite. I think everything is so well thought out I couldn't keep up. Everything fit so nicely together that the story unfolding was amazing. This is my top series this year. Just when I thought I had it figured out.. TWIST!! | didn't have it figured out!! I was shocked and gasping at the end and screaming. My husband thought something was wrong with me. Also the way this book ended i'm questioning everything and how book three is going to go!! I need it plleeaassee!!
