Ok!!! Lol LJ Shens men have been the leading Alpha men in my book world since 2018!! But Hunter Fitzpatrick just took lead as the most genuine and achingly hilarious character I've come across in a long time! The innuendos and the generosity that surprised us in and out throughout the book are just the icing on the cake! Hunter is the friend of Vaughn and Knight from LJ Shens All Saints High Series and he turns up the heat in the book from the first page!! Unfortunately for our suave and amazing Hunter he is caught in a scandal! And in order to avoid anything criminal and to clear his family name he must agree to be babysat for a few months by none other than Sailor Brennen! The Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brennen from Sparrow! What starts off as an arranged roommate eventual friendship develops into a sarcastic deep and abding love that stopped me in my tracks every few pages if not every page! Sailor is an Archer and is training for the Olympics. All her energy and time is on the Olympics. Hunter burst into her life and makes her see that there's more to life than in the bubble she's created. In return sailor teaches him that he is more valued and loved and should acknowledge so even though some of his family members don't believe it. She even helps to mend some family broken ties. Spoiler!! Such as when Hunters father deems his youngest son unworthy and makes him out to be just a useless piece of scrap in the universe. Sailor reminds the father that Hunter is SO MUCH MORE THAN HIS FATHERS OPINIONS! She protectivly roars for her man from the word go! Hunter as well notices one night that Sailors shoulder from doing archery all day is badly swollen! He helps her by dressing her and take her to the doctor and the next day letting Sailors coach know sailor's life matters more than just a bow and arrow. Family secrets and trust are put on the edge and it made me want to jump further and further into this treasure more! Sailor and Hunter both help rebuild each other up and burst into everyone else's lives as a strong team! Sailors family is AMAZING!!! Soooo supportive! Hunters family love him dearly! Although Hunter has to come to an understanding and rebuild his love for his Dad, Mom and Brother. His sister, Aisling, is his little light. The book had such comedic moments that I nearly fell off my chair! Such as when sailor accidentally kicks hunter in the groin! Or when Hunter kept making the most adorable and awesome innuendos at Sailor! Bravo LJ Shen!!!!!!
