Olive's brother does get released from prison but, then he is shot and is in a coma and Olive has been by his hospital room everyday as she is afraid to go for fear that he will die or who ever shot him will come back to finish the job. Nicholas and Sydney convince her to go home and get some sleep and Nicolas stays at the hospital. Olive's mother tells her that she is adopted and that Owen isn't really her brother and everybody except Olive sees the way Owen looks at her. Olive, Nicolas and Owen do a job together and a secret Nicolas is keeping comes out and Olive ends up telling him to leave. Does Nicolas leave or stay and fight for her. Does Owen stick around to be there for Olive? This was an awesome book!! I truly loved it!!
