I love a good small town romance and this book has become one of my favorite ones of this year! As the first book in Willow’s Wendy Harbor series, this was the perfect kick off to her new series. I loved Milo and Goldie’s story. Their journey will give you all the feels! For me, this book has everything that I love about the small town trope. It has a picturesque town, a lovable family and a colorful cast of side characters. The banter and chemistry between Milo and Goldie was so good! OMG! The pining and sexual tension between these two had me swooning. I also loved seeing the family bonds in this story. Those moments always tug at my heartstrings. It was so hard not to fall in love with this town and wonderful characters. From beginning to end, I was hooked to this story and I can’t wait for more of this series. See all formats and editions After an annoying, albeit sexy, encounter with Milo Lombardi, he’s the last person I want to see in Windy Harbor, Minnesota. Being in my favorite small town near Lake Superior with my family is my idea of heaven, and after clashing with Milo at an art event, and then kissing his face off right after – I’d be fine if I never saw the man again. Even though he is sinfully gorgeous, and knows how to use those unforgettable lips. But my dad has other ideas, and because he’s been dealt a blow that threatens to turn our family’s world upside down, I want to do what's best and keep the peace. Which means, I’m stuck working on a project with Milo, all day, every day. And if I thought we didn’t get along in the beginning, it’s nothing compared to dealing with him on a daily basis. He has a unique way of bringing out the worst in me, while showcasing his annoying smirk in the process. If only I could forget how his mouth felt on mine, and the way his strong arms felt wrapped around me.
