I opened this book up and didn't close it until I finished it all in one freaking sitting that's how good it was! This book follows Frankie our FED FMC who has been tasked with shutting down a network of unalivers & Maverick our MMC who is a professional unaliver is tasked with making sure the rest of his friends don't find out Frankie's true identity. I adore how we still get to see all of our favorite characters from the previous books as they meddle their way into this one. If you are a Lauren fan you will also love the breadcrumbs she leaves from her other books outside of this series as well! The banter in this book is off the charts & had me clutching my stomach the entire time because I was laughing so hard! The tension between these two was chefs kiss & Lauren executed this slow burn like no other! Believe me when I say the slow burn is worth the wait for the spice Lauren cooked up!
