I’ve been haunted by you, and I can’t stand the thought of being without you for another minute." Safe Keeping is book two in the Triple Creek Ranch and one I've been anticipating after meeting broody, man of few words Gideon in Safe Haven and he did not disappoint! Ooh Gideon and Lena were tension, spice, chemistry, it had me giddy with excitement waiting for their relationship to unfold and once it did my smile never left my face until it did and at that point I just wanted to throat punch madam president.... hard! I love that Lena was able to be that comfort for Gideon to open up and share his tragic childhood and himself with her and that Lena was able to share how lonely her life was and how affected she was by the traumatic event they shared 5 years prior. These two were inevitable and the fireworks between them were nothing short of captivating. “You are the reason my heart beats. You’re literally my favorite person on this earth and the greatest treasure in my life. You borrowed my name for your art, but I’d like to give it to you, permanently. I’ll give you anything you want, baby.” If you love grumpy x sunshine, age gap, forced proximity, found family, small town, secret service agent x first daughter, then I highly recommend reading this book and falling love with Big Guy and his Rebel!
