Triggers: violence, murder, war, torture, imprisonment, stalking, SA, bigotry, alcohol abuse "I am the tycoon. You are the student" How do I put into words how much I loved this story? I didn't even get a 1/4 thru before I knew it was a 5 ⭐️ read and without a doubt one of my top 5 reads of the year. I thought mythological retellings simply weren’t my genre… until this book shattered every expectation I had. The story within a story was perfect and brought so much understanding and depth. The world building was divine, so good I could picture how everything looked.
