I’m absolutely here for it <3 Please note, this story does feature a TDH broody and scarred (did I already mention handsome AFFFFF?) MMC in a position of power…yum. Ok so boom, I predicted 12 possible scenarios of how this would turn out based on the blurb. Survey sayssssss two of them could be right. Still up for debate. Definitely enjoyed the original thoughts from our girl Eiko. Didn’t know where we were headed half the time but it was fun. I’m 99.9999% sure Eiko’s constant shadow (HA!) is more than he lets on: biggest hoarder, biggest appetite… Back to our MCs though. Don’t get me started on their relationship. The charged silence. The sheer tension. Secret gentleness against outright cruelty. Unspoken words pressed on her skin. His constant absence becoming her obsession…it’s enough to ~set my heart ablaze~ (IYKYK). How could I not root for them? Simply cannot get enough of the semi-love-hate-birds. Excited to see what else Eiko has in store for us. Can’t wait to of [redacted: my, her] OUR scarred commander prince. Pros: This is Book 1. Body-consuming shivers abound. Light is as riveted, karat is no gem. Cons: THIS. IS. BOOK. 1.
