Moronova “It’s odd how you don’t realize the loneliness in your soul until you meet someone who stubbornly plants it there.”~Kalel 5⭐️ Just Brilliant! 🤩This Romantasy sucked me in so fast and didn’t let go! K.M. Morornova really has a way of writing stories that are purely poetic and just captivates you and really leaves you wanting more! The world building was so vividly written! The magic system was easy to understand, loved the lore and all the mythical creatures and Dragons! Definitely a true enemies to lovers experience and an angsty “star crossed lovers “ love story ! Loved it so much!! MFC Alira a demigod( and the daughter of Venus) who is stuck in a time loop , she tries to change her morbid fate and bring peace to her kingdom. But to bring peace to her people Alira must marry her enemy “Kalel” a demon . There is a on going war between demigods and the demons . And the “gods” are like mischievous children who love wreaking havoc on them. Alira does agree to marry Kalel to form a peace treaty between the two worlds. But being the prisoner of a demon who constantly needs to feed on her “ gilded blood” and despises her is taking a toll on her emotionally and physically. Alira & Kalel relationship is very turbulent and their constant craving 🌶️ for one another is off the charts! The emotions I felt for these two were all over the place … I definitely went through an emotional roller coaster of feelings and doubts. MMC Kalel is a demon “Blood Knight” who is rough on the outside but has a tragic past he’s been burying. His mission is eradicate the “demigods “ who have slaughtered many innocent demons. So when he agrees to wed Alira, at first he is disgusted by her and uses her only for her demigod blood . But there is a hidden past between them and it leaves you wondering if Kalel is either friend or foe . Oh 🫢and the Peonies 🌸 planted around Kalel’s palace … omg 😳 …You just have to read the book to understand … just 😮😲😳!!!!! This story does end on a heartbreaking 💔 cliffhanger and now I’m anxiously awaiting the next book! Overall … I absolutely loved everything about this book and would highly recommend it!
