Daisy is a human who finds herself an orphan who is then taken in by Lexi and her son Mordecai. They treat her like their own and form a family with a group of other mis-fits, when Lexi marries Kieran they become a bigger family when Kierans mis-fits also blend in with them. This Family makes a formidable team, made up of Shifters, Fae, Demi-Gods, and so much more. Daisy finds herself coming in contact with a Fae Male and the attraction is instant from both parts. But Daisy has been raised to believe Fae is dangerous and cannot be trusted. Daisy finds herself captive by this Fae and ultimately ends up in his land which she discovers is unbelievable and dangerous to say the least. The relationship is molded and formed as they have to face multiple trials just to get to the Castle where he resides.
