This book was such a great read, an enemy to lovers with the right amount of heat, banter, swoon and heart! This is the first book in the Fitzgerald series by Carrie Elks who is a brand new author to me BUT after reading this book I know I need more of her stories because from the first page of this story I was hook. The characters, the plot and the whole small town of Cape Liberty Island were just perfect. Skylar Brown has inherit a bar by his estranged father who she didn't know much about. But she came to the Island to prove to her family that she can finally do something right. At this moment in her life she feels like she has no direction or purpose. She's still undecided about keeping the bar but after meeting the arrogant billionaire, hot single dad and town's golden man Hudson Fitzgerald her determination to contradict him in every turn becomes almost a daily shore, specially because he wants her bar. Hudson needs to control every aspect of his live. From the business he runs, to the town he lives, to the people he surrounds him self. He carries an emotional scar and feels guilty after her small daughter hasn't been able to talk. He knows Skylar is trouble with a capital T. She infuriates him specially after she challenges him in every way, BUT he can deny how beautiful she is and all the feeling she evokes in him. He know he needs to stay away from her but she makes it impossible. When this couple collide it's explosive. They are a few twist and turns in the story along some unexpected surprises. I love every minute of it and the epilogue was perfect.
