The new resident of Quincy is also the new chief of police. Getting to know the people of Quincy is the challenge that faces new chief. Griffin Eden saw a chance and he took it. He was not expecting that challenged to still be in town days later. Winslow/Winn needed the Eden family on her side as she got more familiar with the people of Quincy, MT. The best way to do that would be to first gain favor with the founding family, the Eden's. It was stated that you could not walk down Main St without bumping into a member of the Eden family. The suspense of finding out if the body found was suicide or murder is the question only in the mind of the new chief. Most of the town (okay all in the town) thinks that the young lady committed suicide. Along with a number of other suicide/murders. Nothing is conclusive until things start to show that maybe someone has a little more to do with the goings on, on Indigo Ridge. Things come down to the wire when realization hits and this is so much more than anyone in town would have every imagined to happen in small town Montana. Devney Perry gave me another small town in Montana to fall in love with. I loved meeting Winslow. And I too liked using her full name and not Winn. Winslow was strong, smart, observant, independent and just what Griffin needed. The suspense of first finding out if this was suicide or murder. Then there was the finding out if this was a suicide who was with her before she died. If this was murder, who did it and why? I am looking forward to the next installment of the Edens. This series has the possibility of being so much more because of the number of Edens in Quincy.
