I was breathing this book long before it was time for it to shine. I was cheering for Eli&Ava long before Legacy of Gods even started. I was certain it would become my forever long before I put my hands on it. This book is my Roman Empire, my Everything, my Ride or Die. I will probably never be able to thank Rina enough for giving a life to such an unforgettable experience that is God of War. This book consumed me body and soul. I devoured it in less than a day because Eli&Ava didn’t give me permission to put it down. Their push and pulls, their feelings for one another, their bickering, their marriage and devotion were everything I could have ever wished for. I loved both of them from the very first page and never stopped. Even now when I finished GoWar they live rent free in my head and give me so many more scenarios of their future. I cannot stop myself from re reading my favorite parts of the book because it was just so perfect it left me with the biggest hungover of my life. Eli&Ava conquered my heart in a way no other book ever did. Not so long ago they were just a distant dream, now they become inseparable part of me. I will keep them in my heart forever. I will praise their story for infinity. 🫶🥹 Ava was a perfection. She was, is and always will be my favorite heroine of all times. She is an icon, a legend through and through. Her heart is bigger than the ocean and her actions speak louder than any words ever spoken in this world. She is so pure and lovable there is no way someone couldn’t fall in love with her. But what has to be said is that behind the beautiful woman, she is, there is a fighter, a survivor who overpowered her demons. She was fighting so hard it made me want to hug her all the time. She was the way I never dared to imagine but all at once everything I needed. She is the light in the dark, the phoenix who always raises from the ashes and becomes stronger than before. Her values, her dreams and her hopes are everything that I crave in books and also in real life and at the same time they are so much more it’s impossible to express with simple words. She will forever be my number one, my rock which gives me strength. 🩷🫶 Eli was so much more than I expected. Seeing him as a husband was my dream since as a super cute and determined kid he kissed Ava for the first time. But actually seeing him and his actions is my fulfillment. This man represents with himself so many values, but nothing ever compared to how valuable Ava was to him. She is his everything, his universe, his oxygen, his whole life, but above all she is his wife. There is no doubt Eli is Aiden’s son through and through but seeing the side of Elsa in him was what made me the most emotional. The way he treated Ava is incomparable to anything someone could have ever experience. He was there for her not only when she needed him the most, he was always there for her. He always adored and protected her with everything in him. Eli is a King and it shows. He is possessive, he is uncontrollable and he always works extremely hard to get what he wants. And the only thing he truly ever wanted in his life was Ava. She was, is and always will be his purpose, the woman of his life, the queen on his chessboard. And he is her tree of life🥹🩷 God of War is probably the most beautiful book I have ever read. It made me feel myriad of emotions all at the same time. Eli&Ava are the best and I will never change my mind about it. Seeing them as a married couple was my dream come true but seeing what was hidden behind their personalities was not only a dream it was a fulfillment. Eli&Ava will always hold a special place in my heart and nothing will ever change it. And seeing their relationships with their friends was what will always melt my heart even more. Ava&Cecy are my definition of a true friendship. Eli&Creigh are the best brother duo that ever existed. I love all this characters so much I’m crying right now just thinking about them. This series is my ride or die. I will probably never be able to thank Rina enough for writing Second Generation, but this whole series is everything.
