We could all learn a thing or two on our knees.” The Devourer series definitely lives up to its name. I completely devoured these books! It still remains as one of my favorite retellings. This highly addictive series is one that you won’t be able to put it down and Devour the Dark is without exception. I couldn’t get enough of my favorite throuple. The chemistry and banter between these characters was so good! I also loved seeing the growth in their relationship especially when it came to Roc. This book was also the perfect and suspenseful conclusion to Roc, Hook and Wendy’s adventure. I loved this book’s mix of suspense, humor and spice. It was such an entertaining listen and I was so happy to see some of my favorite characters from the previous series. Overall, it was such an enjoyable and fast paced listen. If you love morally grey heroes, then you’ll love this book. In addition, the duet narration was done so perfectly and really captured these characters so well. I highly recommend trying the audiobooks for this series, you’ll not be disappointed! And I can’t wait to read Roc and Vane’s origin story.
