These two authors have been hitting them out of the park with each book in this series. Michael, he is obsessive, unhinged and a total control freak. But what works is that even being a walking red flag to a bull, he subconsciously does everything to protect her and to her liking. I am also adding reciliance as one of Gianna's middle names. That girl will do everything needed to survive. My heart broke with the way she was treated by family, where she should have felt protected and cherished. But she was used and abused both physically and mentally, so it is natural that she ran away and developed tricks to survive in a cut-throat world. These two were perfection on paper. I laughed, I cringed (in a good way), I rooted, I teared up and had to turn off my Kindle when I got overheated (winks). The story flowed flawlessly, and I loved the patterns and links between names and pasts. I am genuinely looking forward to the next in the series and would highly recommend this to all mafia romance lovers.
