That alone already sets the tone because she’s n0t doing this willingl¥, she’s being manipulat€d the entire time and the stakes feel very real from the beginning. Then there’s Roan… d@rk, brooding, and from the moment he meets her, he already knows something isn’t right. He’s constantly watching her, questioning her and there’s this underlying tension where it feels like he’s just waiting for her to slip….. She can’t resist him and he can’t push her away, so it turns into this intense push and pull between them that slowly builds into something way more complicated. What I really loved is that it’s not just about the romance. There’s this whole emotional layer inside the compound too, especially moments like her bond with his father which adds a softness to an already d@ngerous environment. When things start to shift and heavier moments hit, you can feel how grief, pressure, and responsibility start to change everything especially for Roan. The relationship between them isn’t simple at all.
